Two formats, one person#

WhatsApp and email carry different information. WhatsApp is usually immediate and phone-based; email includes subjects, recipient fields, and longer-form history. Combining them should preserve those differences while making the relationship easier to understand.

Linkrium associates the connected phone number and email address with a contact. Messages then appear in chronological order with a visible channel label.

Set up and verify#

Connect a supported mailbox through its OAuth flow, then complete the WhatsApp pairing flow available in your environment. Use test messages from the same person on both channels.

Confirm the email subject and recipients remain visible, the WhatsApp source is clear, and the contact identifiers are correct. If the identities do not belong to the same person, keep them separate.

Reply through the intended account#

The composer should only offer a route that is connected and valid for the contact. Email and WhatsApp have different delivery requirements, attachment behavior, and provider policies. Switching the reply route does not transfer the original conversation between providers.

Important limitations#

Synchronization depth, mailbox folders, WhatsApp history, group behavior, calls, templates, attachment sizes, and disconnections may vary. The supported networks page is the current availability record.
