Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Linkrium ("Linkrium", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our unified inbox platform. By using Linkrium, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, password, and workspace details you provide when signing up.

Connection data: messages, contact details, and metadata you send or receive through provider accounts you choose to connect.

Usage data: log data, device information, IP address, and analytics about how you interact with Linkrium.

Payment information: billing details processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve Linkrium; to deliver and synchronize messages across your connected channels; to authenticate your account and secure the platform; to process payments and send billing notices; to respond to support requests; and to communicate important updates about the service.

3. Connected messaging providers

When you connect a supported provider account, Linkrium accesses and stores the messages and contact metadata necessary to display them in your inbox. We only access the data required to provide the service and do not use your message content for advertising purposes. Each connected provider processes data under its own privacy policy in addition to ours.

4. Linkrium Connector browser extension

The Linkrium Connector is an optional browser extension used to connect an Instagram account. Installing it is never required — you can connect by pasting your instagram.com session cookies manually instead.

When you choose to connect, the extension reads five instagram.com session cookies from your browser (sessionid, csrftoken, ds_user_id, mid and ig_did) and sends them, together with a short-lived pairing code issued by Linkrium, to the Linkrium API. It reads no other cookies, no browsing history and no page content, and it sends them to no other destination.

Your Instagram password is never involved. The extension uses the session you established yourself by logging in on instagram.com, and it runs only on instagram.com and on Linkrium's own pages.

The extension stores nothing on your device and holds no Linkrium credential. The pairing code is deliberately not persisted and expires after ten minutes.

The cookies are used to establish the connection to Instagram's messaging service; Linkrium does not keep a separate copy of them. You can disconnect the account at any time from Settings → Channels, and you can remove the extension from your browser independently.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how Linkrium is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

Product analytics and privacy-masked session replay are provided by PostHog, hosted in the United States and served through our own domain. Google Analytics 4 measures usage and subscription funnel events, while Google Ads measures paid conversion performance. Analytics and advertising load only for the purposes you accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Session replay is masked by default: all on-screen text and form inputs are obscured before anything leaves your browser, and message content, contact details, attachments and profile pictures are excluded from recording entirely. We do not send your name or email address to our analytics provider — your account is identified there only by an opaque identifier.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted sub-processors who help us operate Linkrium (such as hosting, analytics, and payment providers) under confidentiality obligations, with connected channel providers as necessary to deliver messages, and when required to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

8. Data Security

We use HTTPS in transit, access controls, and application-level encryption for protected message content stored by Linkrium. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@linkrium.com.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.

11. Children's Privacy

Linkrium is not directed at individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

13. Contact Us
