Cross-channel replies
Reply Through Connected Messaging Channels
A shared composer can reduce app switching, but every reply still travels through one specific connected provider with its own requirements.

Choose a valid route#
The composer should show only connected channels for which the contact has a usable identifier. Selecting email requires an address and a connected mailbox. Selecting a phone- or handle-based network requires the corresponding connection and identity.
Provider rules still apply#
The unified interface does not bypass consent, templates, recipient restrictions, attachment limits, rate limits, or provider outages. A contact being reachable on one network is not automatic permission to message them on another.
Confirm delivery behavior#
Send a non-sensitive test through each available route. Verify the selected provider, sender account, delivery state, error handling, and appearance in the contact timeline.
If a connection expires, reconnect it before retrying rather than assuming the message reached the recipient.
